I recently came in contact with the infamous "pink lady", otherwise known as the Mary Kay lady. This woman has been selling Mary Kay for many years and knows how to market herself and her products. She included a mini version of this hand cream in with her business card. It has been many years since I have tried this product, and to be honest I don't remember if I loved it or hated it. So this gave me the chance to try it again, with a fresh look.
First off, it smell is very reminiscent of peaches. I love fruit smelling things. As we all know that when companies try and make things fruit smelling they can often mess it up leaving you with that artificial "fruit" smell. I think this has a hint of that artificial smell to it, but not overly so. It is very pleasant.
Second, the consistency is about the same as the average lotion. The different thing about this product is that it doesn't leave your hands feeling greasy. In fact they feels like satin. A very, unnoticeable layer is left on your skin, that makes them feel so soft and smooth like cashmere. I have never felt a lotion that feels like this.
As far as moisturizing properties, it does it's job. I would have to say it does a better job of moisturizing than most lotions on the market. It is not a thick night cream so for deep moisturizing, this is not the best product. With repeated use you might get the same effect though.
Overall, for the average hand cream that you keep in your bag this is good one and it only retailing at $10, you can't beat that!
