I first purchased these items a couple of months ago. I used them both nearly every day for a month.
I have had trouble with my eyes "shedding" makeup for most of my life. I have never been able to keep any type of eye liner on my eyes or keep my eyeshadow from budging.
After giving up on any hope of that changing, I ran across a YouTube video by LisaFreemontStreet . She did a review on the tattoo liner and did something that amazes me. She swatched the liner on the back of her hand allowed it to dry for 30seconds to a minute. She then began to rub on the area. It didn't budge.
She then licked her finger and rubbed on the area. It didn't budge.
I was shocked! So of course I had to try it myself.
I did the same test that LisaFreemontStreet did once I got both. Both with and without primer. I took it one step further. I applied my makeup with the Kat Von D eye primer and tattoo liner, first think in the morning. It was a hot day and I was driving around all day without air conditioning. After a long day, I arrived back home to check my makeup. It....looked the way it did when I put it on at 6am that morning! So...I tested further. I slept in it! Now, I sleep on my stomach so, my face is always rubbing on my pillow. After waking the next morning, I found that the makeup was still intacked and looked as it did when I put it on the previous morning.
I was impressed!
The tattoo liner has a brush tip applicator and is in a pen form. It applies smoothly as long as you hold the skin gently taunt. The primer is a cross between a primer and a concealer. It is thick but covers and evens out very well.
I am overall very pleased with both of these purchases! I as so excited that next day that I tweeted Kat and told her how excited I was about it! She responded saying she was glad and that she loved it too! Who could answer with the inspiration.
