Normally i will try and keep this blog very much focused on the beauty side of things, but this meant so much to me that I feel everyone needs to read it. Kandee Johnson is an amazing makeup artist out of LA and makes awesome videos on YouTube. I have been following her for over a year now and have fallen in love with her. Her personality, energy, passion, and love radiates off of her through her videos. I feel so much joy when I watch what she is doing, whether it be a makeup tutorial, an interaction with her mother, a tour around LA shopping, or vlogs about her life. This post that she made really moved me and compelled me to share her wise words with every young person I know. I wish that someone had given me those words many years ago. At that age I always heard the normal lines..."Don't have sex before your married" and things like, you have to be perfect in order to show God to others through you. That, If you fail or stumble you are bringing God down with you. But something I have learned over time...often the hard way...is that God knows. He knows that we fail, he knows that we aren't perfect. That is why he sent his Son to die for our sins...our failures...our imperfections. I love what Kandee said about not making your decisions based on the judgement you might receive from others because it's only God that matters. I couldn't have asked for a better role model for me right now...I wish I had had her 10 years ago. She has a blessing in her life because of a decision. God has a plan. I think based on the impact she has on so many people through the amazing words in her blog post, she has an amazing legacy to go along with her blessing. I believe God is proud of her, and so am I. Thank you Kandee!
