Product Review: L'Oreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara

I purchased this mascara on a whim because I was intrigued by the name. I never thought of Collagen helping give you extra volume on the outside of your body! To tell you the truth...it was anti-climactic. I was very much not impressed with this mascara.

The first thing I noticed was it was a very dry formula. I had to put several layers on to get any kind of volume at all and it just came off clumpy. After wearing it a few hours I started noticing flakes of the mascara below my eye and on my cheek. Not transfer, like some mascaras, but flakes or chunks! It was very strange. Towards the end of the day I looked at my eyelashes and really discovered that they felt very very stiff. It made me feel that if I blinked wrong that my eyelashes would just fall out! I was really looking forward to trying this mascara...but to be honest I probably will never use it again.
