Just wanted to give you all a follow-up on my review of the Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse Foundation I reviewed a while back. I have almost come to the end of the foundation and have been overall pleased. I used this foundation during the summer/beginning of fall seasons. Overall it gave a smooth finish that generally covered flaws and evened out my skin tone without making me look over done. It is a foundation that I was able to build up if I desired. I applied it with a flat-topped dense brush and stippled it around my face and finished with buffing it in.
One thing I noticed as it has gotten colder and my skin drier, it seems to dry out my face a bit...not helping with the already dry skin. So I have had to slather on the moisturizer, more than i usually would this time of year, when i use this foundation.
Looking back at this foundation, it WILL be one I revisit in the summer for my foundation needs but, I might skip it during these coming months...sorry Maybelline.
