The Laura Geller Websites says this about the Bronze and Brighten:
"A unique and revolutionary formula of color corrective pigments along with bronzer.
Baked to create a beautiful, dewy yet matte finish, the infused color found in this compact gives the complexion a hint of bronzed color for a sun-kissed look without any hint of orange. Add a second layer of color for a deeper shade of bronze. The color stays where you put it, will not transfer onto clothes, and always looks great on your skin. This formula is mineral oil and paraben free. It is also loaded with the age-fighting, anti-oxidant protection of Centella Asiatica and White Tea."
I received this in my June Birchbox. I haven't tried Laura Geller products before, but I have heard good things. This was a very good one to try them out with.
I read on the Birchbox card that it acted as a bronzer and highlighter in one. I was a bit skeptical of this. So I tried it, and it remarkably does.
My first opinion of the product was that the packaging was nice and sturdy. The closing was secure and it had a nice mirror in the compact.
The product itself is a baked product that has a nice veining.
It is a nice bronze color without the orange tint. It has a great deal of simmer in it so if that is something you don't care for then this isn't the product for you.
As the product is marketed it is very buildable. It gives you a VERY nice sun-kissed look. Overall it has a wonderful staying power but comes off with water. I would defiantly not call this waterproof.
Overall I would say this is one of my preferred bronzers.
You can purchase this at Macy's for $31
